The landscape looks like a river in a thicket of willows, somewhere in Germany or Russia. But this is not a river and the water here is salty. In front of you is a sea channel with mangrove trees on both banks. These places are not typical for the UAE, but this is Khor Kalba - a small town in the emirate of Sharjah. The full illusion of the river is created by the ebbs and flows. But unlike the river, which always flows in one direction, the water here moves in both directions. Must see it!
